Our story

I began blending intuitively in 2004, long before Healing Hollow had a name. After losing my sister unexpectedly, aromatherapy became my refuge — a way to breathe through grief, court days, and raising my two-year-old. I found comfort and strength in scent, creating blends that supported my heart and helped me heal.

 I opened my first brick-and-mortar shop in Kimberley, BC, later closing it as the local economy shifted. With a new baby and a renewed vision, I moved to Fernie and tried again. Slowly, steadily, Healing Hollow grew — by 2018, we had five locations across British Columbia.

​In 2020, our world changed. The pandemic brought closures, loss, and challenges I could never have imagined. I closed three stores, went through a painful divorce, and survived a violent assault connected to an employee. There were moments I nearly walked away — from the business, and from the dream.

But I didn’t. I rebuilt. I healed. I found new strength and new ways to create.

Today, in 2026, Healing Hollow is ‘home’ again — moving to online only to be able to create, and offer healing work. We offer a full line of essential oils, bath & body care, candles, and healing-rooted goods. We have grown, evolved, and softened back into what matters most: Connection. Peace. Purpose.
